TARGETS OF OPPORTUNITY

Jordan Sandor is back in action for the Central Intelligence Agency. Although not fully recovered from the injuries he suffered while preventing a terrorist attack in TARGETS OF DECEPTION, the Agency’s best covert operative is pressed back into service when an Iranian defector brings word of a secret alliance among Iran, North Korea and Venezuela.

Faced with the prospect of an attack from a new confederation of enemies, it befalls Sandor to determine whether there is any truth to the information being offered by a former IRGC assassin from Tehran, who now claims to have fled his mother country in fear of his life.
Sandor and his team infiltrate Pyongyang to extract a North Korean agent who may have access to the intelligence they need, when word comes of a downed airliner in the Caribbean, followed by a guerilla assault against a secret NATO communications center not far from the plane crash.

As one cataclysm follows another, Sandor is left to chase down every possible lead in his attempt to discern the true purpose of these attacks. He trusts no one, as he and his men are drawn into action around the globe, moving from one continent to another in search of answers.

Sandor finally pieces together a puzzle that leads him home, hopefully in time to prevent the catastrophe our enemies have in store - a massive strike at the heart of the United States oil supply in the Gulf of Mexico.

The action never stops right up to the final page.

The Last Goodbye

Jack Rinaldi is a cautious young man who is forced to embark on the adventure of his life when he discovers a letter his father wrote him just before he died, six years ago.

His father lived on the edges of organized crime, a charming rogue who failed far more often that he succeeded in life. The letter, however, tells of a cache of stolen money he claims to have left behind, leading his reluctant son on a search that takes him from New York City to Las Vegas and ultimately to the south of France. Along the way, Jack is confronted by dangerous mobsters, dishonest relatives, suspicious friends, a mysterious woman and the perils of a journey his father may or may not have planned for him. In the end, he locates an elderly man his father had known many years before, who helps to not only solve the puzzle of the missing loot, but also the mystery of his relationship with his father.

The story is fast-moving yet poignant, intriguing but amusing, all the while an entertaining look at a father, a son, and the ties that bind.

Sexual Rites

A gripping mystery with suspense, sensuality and psychological overtones, the secrets of SEXUAL RITES are revealed a layer at a time, as we discover how betrayal and infidelity have led to murder.

When one of Randi Conway’s psychotherapy patients is found dead of a gunshot wound, everyone believes the woman has committed suicide. Everyone, that is, except Lieutenant Anthony Walker.

Walker, a former New York City cop, now serves on the police force of an affluent community in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Walker understands better than most that among the privileged gentry, appearances are often far from reality. This certainly proves to be true in the death of Elizabeth Knoebel, when Walker discovers that she had been keeping a private journal entitled “SEXUAL RITES.”

In her book, Elizabeth was recording the explicit details of her sexual adventures with various men, many of whom were the husbands of women she met in her group therapy sessions. Elizabeth was a predator bent on seducing and, in some instances, humiliating these men, engaged in a mission that Walker comes to believe ran her headlong to her death.

As Walker uncovers the secret of Elizabeth’s diary, he becomes convinced that her killer must be another of Randi Conway’s patients. Dr. Conway is unwilling to divulge her patients’ confidences, complicating the investigation while increasing the danger she will face from the murderer as Walker comes closer to both the truth and to Randi herself.

Amidst these unfolding revelations, we meet an assortment of Dr. Conway’s patients, glimpsing the dynamics that cause marriages to succeed, to fail and, sometimes, to end in tragedy.
